Plume Agate Pendant in Gold Filled Wire

I got a lot of this beautiful woodward ranch plume agate. It gets its name because it looks like there are plumes of something growing through the clear agate. The stone is very thin and it looks great when it's backlit. Unfortunately, most pendants lie flat against your chest, so no light comes in the back at all. I designed a setting that brings the stone off the chest, so that some light can get behind the stone (as you can see!).

The setting is made with gold filled wire, and I added some delicate curlicues to accent the piece.
