Malachite in Gold Filled Wire

This small malachite stone is set in gold filled wire, with some sterling trimmings. I left the stone to speak for itself, with the curves of the wires to match the streaks in the stone. This malachite probably came from the Congo. That's a popular place to mine it these days.
